                                      How to Make Amritsari Fish

Step 1

Place a large pan over medium heat and pour oil over it. When the oil is hot enough add cumin seeds, carom seeds, add ginger, ginger paste, spice chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, Bengal gram flour, and salt to this pan. Mix the ingredients well to make a heavy paste for the marinade. Turn off the gas knob now and transfer this paste to a separate container.

Step 2

Take the fish particles and add the paste to it evenly. Keep it aside for a while so that it can navigate the sea properly. After a while, place a non-stick pan over medium heat with hot oil in it. When the oil is hot enough add the strands of fish dipped in frozen water and fry until they turn golden brown to golden on all sides.

Step 3

Take a serving bowl and arrange two lettuce leaves in it. Arrange the fish pieces on a plate and sprinkle lemon juice on top of them. Your Amritsari fish is ready now. Garnish with lemon slices and serve hot with some dips or chutney.
